Dell has confirmed plans to launch a new entry in its UltraSharp monitor family, with the 27in UltraSharp U2713HM.

Based on Advanced High-Performance In-Plane Switching (AH-IPS) technology, the k450n monitor is claimed to offer an ultra-wide viewing angle of 178 degrees in both directions and colour accuracy rated to a gamut of over 99% of the sRGB colour space.

The large-format high-resolution display boasts a native resolution of 2560x1440 - a significant step up from the usual 1920x1080 Dell inspiron 1440 battery displays seen on the market - and features an LED backlighting system which offers a 350cd/m² brightness and a claimed standard contrast ratio of 1,000:1 and dynamic contrast ratio of two million to one for clear images during both dark and light viewing. The display's grey-to-grey response time is quoted as 8ms.

Connectivity is covered by DVI-D, DisplayPort 1.2, HDMI with HDCP support and analogue VGA inputs, while a USB 3.0 hub with four downstream ports provides connectivity for other accessories. The panel is also adjustable for tilt Dell inspiron 15 battery , height and swivel, and can pivot between landscape and portrait modes.

Aimed at the professional market, Dell is quick to point out the potential environmental benefits of the display: the LED backlighting system means reduced power consumption compared to cathode-based backlights, and a PowerNap mode allows the Dell latitude d630 battery system to dynamically adjust the brightness and automatically enter sleep mode after a pre-set period. The monitor is also made using 25 per cent post-consumer recycled plastics, BFR/PVC-free laminates in the circuitry and arsenic-free glass.

The Dell inspiron 15r battery display is available to pre-order now, priced at £600, with the first models expected to hit the UK in September.

Dell XPS M1530 battery customer ratings Owerhouse of a battery. Charge lasted far longer than the 6 Cell I had prior. I still liked the look of my computer even though this battery was bigger (More bigger than inspiron 1520 1720 9cells battery). The extra weight was not a problem (I am female and not very big.)

It Made my computer (XPS M1530 Laptop) so hot I had to return it and buy the 6 Cell. I could feel the heat off the touch pad and where I place my left hand when typing (where the hard drive is located.)

ConsThis battery is nothing special. Yes it is 9 cells but the poor quality of the battery counteracts the fact that it has 2 extra cells as 9cells latitude D620 battery and latitude D820.

I called tech help who did verify that the battery has more "mass" therefore would be hotter. I was surprised by this because what I had read here had me thinking it would be cooler than the 6 cell. It wasn't. Too bad it was neat.

In all , this 9 Cells XPS M1530 battery is more powerful than 6 Cells XPS M1530 battery, also it become more hotter than 6 cells..
